Our Story
Cornerstone Assessments was established to provide high-quality multidisciplinary assessments that offer clarity, understanding and practical support for individuals and families.
We recognise that seeking an autism assessment can feel overwhelming. Our goal is to make the process clear, supportive and evidence-based, ensuring every individual receives an assessment tailored to their needs.
Our assessments combine expertise from Speech and Language Therapy, Educational Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Occupational Therapy, and other specialist disciplines to provide a comprehensive understanding of strengths, differences and support needs.
We believe assessments should do more than provide a diagnosis. They should provide meaningful recommendations that empower individuals, families and professionals to move forward with confidence.
Our Values
Person-Centred:
Every individual is unique. We seek to understand each person's strengths, needs and experiences.
Collaborative:
We work closely with families, educational settings and professionals throughout the assessment process.
Evidence-Based:
We use recognised assessment tools and current best practice to ensure robust and reliable outcomes.
Neurodiversity-Affirming:
We recognise and celebrate neurodiversity while identifying areas where support may be beneficial.
Pathways:
We provide clear pathways following assessment, whether you have received a diagnosis or not.
